How Wicked Cake Pops by MJ handles contact details from order requests.
What we collect
When you submit an order request (Weekly Order Menu cart or Custom Order form), we store:
- Name, phone number, and email
- Event date, preferred pickup time, and order details you provide
- Optional allergy notes, design notes, and other messages you write
- Whether you opted into occasional update messages
How we use it
- To review availability and reply about pricing and pickup
- To email MJ a private notification when a request arrives (when email delivery is configured)
- To send you a request-received confirmation (when email delivery is configured)
- Only for marketing messages if you separately opted in
What we do not collect
- Credit or debit card numbers
- Bank login credentials
- Venmo or Apple Pay passwords
Payment happens after MJ confirms your request, through methods she arranges with you (for example Venmo or a payment link). This site does not process card payments.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Limited data may be processed by our email delivery provider solely to send order notifications and confirmations. Hosting and backup operators may store encrypted or protected database files as part of running the business systems.
Retention
Order requests are kept as long as needed for business records, pickup coordination, and dispute resolution. You may email us to ask about correction or deletion of contact details when legally allowed and operationally possible.
